Preserve
The word “preserve, "means to protect, or surround with wall,
or to keep things safe ,for a prolonged period of time.
In our lives, there are
circumstances which makes us feel overwhelmed. At times, we face troubles in
our lives, illness prevails, Bills are to be paid, parents or children don't
understand your problems.
Let me ask you one question: Why does God want to keep you, or
preserve you? Why does he keep you as an apple of his eyes?
That is because he has a purpose in your life. He wants to
accomplish certain things through your life.
Recently, we had to face certain calamities: and fear came on all the
individuals and people began calling God to guard them, protect them, preserve
them. That is the time when the thought of God comes in our mind, God, is our
hiding place from trouble.
Whom God preserves the evil one cannot destroy. He keeps his loved
ones safe and their lives preserved . God's power and his strength is enough.
To keep evil away from our life just put God in our hearts and he will preserve
our life from all evil and ways of evil.
For example, when we see nature around us it becomes our duty to
preserve the nature. By planting trees, safeguarding the animals, insects
around us etc. So as to keep it, as it is to our next generations.
Another example : of preserving pickles , fishes or other items by adding salt in it sometimes sugar is needed to keep it for a long period of time; in the same way our life should be preserved by the preservative that is God, he should be the center : acting as preservative when other impurities like (loneliness, sorrow, trials ,defeat, pain.... )enter our lives. Too much of coldness or heat can destroy this pickle , so a preserving agent in the form of salt, vinegar or sugar is added so as to keep it from impurities and safe for longer period.
If God is the center
nothing can stop us from reaching our destination. God has preserved you so
that he can give you what you deserve. He wants to accomplish something in your
life beyond all the miracles. He has a purpose in your life.
