A clean slate

The new year, is creeping in. Countdown has started. We, all are standing, on the verge of 2019 to end, and begin; with 2020. All, are caught up in a whirlwind, thinking as, to begin with the right feet, or left first. Before us there lies, new challenges, new experiences, new mission, new goals, and a list of resolutions; some Do's and Don'ts. Wondering, whether is it important, to keep resolutions! If, they are kept one is bound to it, to complete.

New year, is a time to do a lot of activities in our houses; cleaning, tidying up, removing all the junk items, some old bills, and magazines, paper, cards etc. Things, which are no longer needed, or the junk need to be removed, which have been piled up on shelves, and cupboards. Even in our work places we try to clear everything; accounts are up to date, tallying of stocks, yearly census, and so on... I, remember the days when, I had been, working.

 I was given, the assignment of yearly census, and inventory. In inventory, you have to find the instruments, or monitors or that particular article which is in the list, to search it, if still present with you, or in working condition, or whether it is condemned. A difficult job, to check every nook, and corner for the things. As, we clean our workplace and our houses, sometimes; our phones, and computers also, asks us to clear, or clean the device storage by, deleting unnecessary data, so as, to have more storage space. Whenever, I have time I delete all the unwanted messages, from my phone, some pictures, and some articles which need to be retained for later use, only those I save in my flash drive or computer's D drive.

In the same way, you and me should have a look, if our slate is clean. The mind, and heart is our slate which, should be kept clean, if someone has done bad for you, forgive don't keep a grudge, or an attitude of revenge. Check your inventory, of the walk with God and evaluate yourself. Whether, we are walking up to His mark, the way He wants us. God has a plan for your life. He, needs us to have a clean slate, so that we may glorify, Him. This new year, let us retain something,  remove certain things, and store certain things, which are valuable in your life.

As, mentioned in Isaiah 43:18, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." Even thou you may have valleys, and mountains in your life, But, He will smoothen your road. In the desert there, will be streams flowing.

 So, friends in this new year, let us all try to walk one step closer, in having the spiritual knowledge, have godly virtues, lead a holy life and have a prayerful life. The plans the ways, and action be governed by Him alone. Phil 4:6 " Do not be anxious for anything but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanks giving present your request to God". When, you hear about the ongoing news in media, do not be anxious, Let God take the control. Our Lord, is going to come soon. Let's wait on with a hope, facing all challenges, and welcome this new year 2020 with a clean slate.

Your time, starts now....

How do you manage with your money? Do you spend it, or use it  carefully? As, it's you, who are earning.

God, has given us 24 hours,or say 1,440 min, or say 86,400 sec, in a day; in our hands. On the mark get, set go, our time starts, as soon as we open our eyes, it's ready. Actually, we should thank Lord for the wonderful morning, and say it ourselves...'Your Name'  your time starts now. My imagination, God, must be watching from His heavenly abode as, how you and me, utilize our time. He might be writing it in His scroll book. And, when night comes, God might be seeing if we have invested it properly.

 It, reminded me of my sister, as she is our internal finance advisor. All, my sisters and family members, have delegated her for this duty. Decisions, on how and where, to invest is purely done by her, as we rely on her, for the accurate financial decisions. Since, she is well versed with the accounting part, and knows if an investment is done in such and such place, there is profit. This, is just an example for money investment, same is the case with Time you can invest it cautiously and wisely. Make the best use of opportunities which lie ahead. It should be taught to our children also that you should give an account of everything from our time, to money, things used everything. Tell, your children to use the time wisely as one's lost is lost. You are not going to get it back. Not to waste their time as exams are approaching and to redeem or use their time wisely. As Jesus gave an example in Matt 25: 21 Let us also hear, from our Master at the end, "Well done, good and faithful servant!"

Slowly, all our days in this earth is moving ahead. When we can see, 2019 is in the verge to finish. What is gone is gone. You cannot catch even a second of it. You and me might, not have the same stamina and strength like last year, So, whatever little is left should not be wasted but, be useful for Him. You have a race to run and run so that you will win. Someday you might have to drag other days might be a link of your eye. In all these don't faint, keep on running by Prioritizing your objective, setting your goals, Make your plan then leave it to God. Don't postpone your plans for tomorrow. Time gone is gone, tomorrow never comes again. In the same way we should, spend our time wisely and carefully. Because, one day each individual has to give an account. I, am including myself, into the context when I am, writing it. I pray to God to help me use my time wisely and, to cut off my time if I am wasting it. It's written, in Eph 5:16,17 "Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is"

Good News!! A treasure for us..

Who doesn't like a gift? Be, it a small child or an old man, everyone likes to receive a gift. A wonderful gift, was given to each and every one of us by, our Heavenly Father. Yes...a gift, a treasure to the world, of His son 'Jesus', "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16. He, first gave us the gift, now, it's our turn to give gifts. Our soul, our mind, and our body to Him.

Today, as I opened the newspaper I could see, news of corruption, violence, fights, curfew and all sorts of chaos, going around the world. People, need peace and joy, which is miles away, not like in the time of Jesus Birth, in Luke 2:10 " But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people". The shepherds, wise men, angels, Mary and Joseph and everyone who came to see the baby in the manger were happy as, King of Kings and Lord of Lord was born the Messiah was born.

If you see, nowadays Christ, has been cut from the word Christmas now only mas is remaining. Mas is a 'carnival celebration'. Many, people like a celebration making it to be used in wrong ways, by overeating, spending in luxuries, drinking, pleasures and merry making. How can we have a 'Happy Christmas' when so many; around us are in troubles, and problems, hundreds of homes are deprived of a single meal, with no roof on top to lie down, violence, protest, cries, of people in earth?

DOB, is the date, the month, and the year when one is born. Mostly all are quite, familiarized with it. Everyone, will be able to tell their and their loved ones, DOB. Now a days, the world is so advanced that various cards carry all relevant information. When, we look into, the scriptures, every single thing is recorded by the apostles, by the holy spirit, by the prophets. Even, the offering, of the  poor widow, in Mark 12: 42," two very small copper coin." I wonder, at times why, then was birth day of Jesus, hidden? The, birth of Jesus is written in Matt 1:18, "His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit". As, no one knows when is the second coming of JESUS, in the same way no one knows when He was born. The, controversies of His day of birth will go on. But, we know one thing that our Saviour was born. And, we have a sure hope, this Christmas that He came into the world for you and me, As, written in Phil 2:8  "And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death- even death on a cross." He died for us, and rose up on the third day and reigns forever. He is going to come soon, the date no one knows.

This, is the true message of Christmas which, should be shared among all. He is 'Immanuel', meaning 'God is with us'. Let us give ourselves as a gift to 'Jesus'. Invite Him, into your heart. He sacrificed His life for us, so this Christmas let's sacrifice our time, our energy, our efforts for Him. May the Lord, provide wisdom to you so as to make the best use of Christmas. This, gift is to be treasured not only on Christmas but all the year through. Live a life with hope, joy and peace, amidst all tribulations till His second coming.

An unquenchable thirst...

All animals and human beings, requires the basic necessity such as; air, water, habitat, food, and shelter. Out of which, air and water is the most important. Man, cannot live without air, but, he can live without food up to 3 weeks and, without water he can live only for maximum 3 days. Thus, we can see the importance of air and water. Have, you seen someone panting? I, have seen dogs panting. If, they are thirsty they will keep their tongue out, and pant. Panting means, to cry out or long for something. Most animals, who pant do it so that; they can throw the heat from their body as they don't have enough sweat glands.

Did, you ever experience any kind of thirst in your life, a longing thirst for something, which you want to have it desperately? Such a moment, came into my life. Last week, when we decided to go out for a short trip. Joining with my dear ones, after a long gap was really exciting. In a view to reach home soon, we didn't carry anything with us, not even a bisleri bottle. But, due to heavy traffic we were struck up in the middle of the road. And I, was so thirsty, that I could not speak a single word...as, my tongue was sticking to the roof of my mouth all my strength had gone. We, had to halt in a nearby shop to get a bottle of water.

This, is how spiritual thirst creeps into our lives. When, we go through trials, problems, difficulties, pressure, stress, pain and struggles of varied forms. That's the moment, we realize an emptiness, or dryness. At times, you might become so engrossed in your lives that, you don't have time to look into yourself, nor have few minutes to sit in solitary with Him. I, saw a video of deer running to get fresh water, the deer was being chased by some hunters, tired after long run it started to search for water to quench his thirst. It, desperately needed water or else it was in a point to die. And, when it finds a stream to quench his thirst, it starts drinking from the fresh streams of flowing water. A new life comes into, full of freshness and energy. Ps 42:1 "As the deer panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God."

So it is with you and me, when we long, to have a fellowship with God. After, you get it you feel, satisfied and happy. The closer we get to God, the more we yearn for Him. He will satisfy our thirst as Jesus, said in Matt 5:6- " Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness; for they shall be filled".

There are times in my life, when I need my Lord desperately, I have an unquenchable thirst for Him. And when I take time to sit quietly, in His presence, He fills me with the living water. "We need to Thirst for God like a drowning man needs air". Just as, the deer thirst for living water we too, should keep on longing Him. I like the song...in Hindi and Eng -'Hirni jaise nadi ke jal ke liye hafti' 'As the deer panteth for the water' .....

Wake up please!!!

It is very sad, to say that since; last 2-3 days on opening newspapers, social medias, horrifying news about violence, gang rape, murders can only be seen which leaves a  tear drop in our eyes. Incidences of, small and young girls are in vast numbers. The, recent shocking news, of a veterinary doctor in Hyderabad, in addition, a student of class XI in Coimbatore, a 6 yr old girl returning home after sports competition in a school, in Rajasthan, are a few but, many more in the list. The full week, of disgusting and offensive crime, happening around has stirred the people. Where, is this nation heading to? The safety for, woman and children is far beyond. Government, is in a denial stage. Cases, not only in one particular state, but in entire country. It, is shameful that all are  silent. Where is the justice? What is happening to our society? Man has changed his appearance. He thinks he is free to fulfill his pleasure. Sin is continually on the rise.

When, we see closely to some plants, they act like humans. Do you know of a plant called touch me not? If, one leaf is touched others get shrunk, timid or drop down their heads as if they are sorry for what happened. I think they are better than human beings.

You, can see in the time of Noah, when people sinned: He, brought a flood. In the time, of Jonah when the people sinned again, He, did not wanted to destroy the people but; wanted Jonah, to go, and preach to the people of Nineveh, to repent, and abstain from all evil acts. Instead, Jonah turned around, and ran away from the Lord. So, God had to tell the whale, and the sea waves, to teach Jonah, a lesson.  And look, they all obeyed the Creator. Man disobeys and sins, and does all unpleasant things .

God, created this creation with; beautiful flowers, trees, birds, animals, sea creatures, and everything, whatever you see, and He commanded man to rule over them. But, man has failed many times, Now a day's man is not at all sorry for his indecent or bad act. The world is in the time of Sodom and Gomorrah. Because; of his evil desires, lust of eyes, and lust of flesh. As, we can see in Rom 1:18" The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people who suppress the truth by their wickedness," God, is righteous and his decree, is death: who do such act. Even in His anger His, motivation is love for His people; to restore the relationship that sin destroyed. He, wants everyone to repent and walk in His ways. Refrain from Gal 5:19 "The acts of flesh like sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft, hared discord, jealousy, fit of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions".

Only thing we can do is to pray for these circumstances. ...Let God open their eyes. God, loves man as he created them in his own image. He forgives, and builds them. Man forgets, and destroys the creation, and the things He created. Wake up, raise your voices, or fold your hands, and pray for wisdom and judgment.. A good news, in today's morning news, that the police had an encounter with the 4 accused of brutally killing the Hyderabad vet doctor. This, case got justice but, so many more cases are pending. Let's, pray to God to open the eyes of mankind.

You are Unique....

Our God, is great because, He has created everyone unique and special. Each one perfect, in their own way. Even though; you share many things which are common with everyone. Like : 2 legs, 2 hands, 2 eyes , 2 ears, 1 nose, 1 mouth, common to all. But; each one has a different gene, or to say more precisely, different DNA strand. Let's look, on to Identical twins, their behaviours and habits even their DNA is the same. But, there are some epigenetic factors which, differ and create difference, in personality traits as they grow up. Your smile, your style, your structure might be the same, But; small things like the way you sneeze, or your finger prints are unique. Too many.. buts' that's because you are unique.

Just, have a close look with the lines that run on your palm, and your siblings, it's different. He, or she is unique, I am unique, We all are unique. Nobody is like you. You are a 'masterpiece' in God's hand. We are made for a purpose, your talents are the one which will make you unique. Each detail, of our life is unique designed by God.

This morning, I went out to my garden, a beautiful set of flowers,  were waiting for me. The gentle breeze in the morning, made the flowers sway, as if they were welcoming me. I was, awe struck by the beauty around, and started praising God, for the beautiful nature. I, bent down to collect the leaves, and flowers from a plant. Bewildered, as to pluck which leaves, I plucked a flower and a leaflet. To me, all appeared same. At last, I plucked a leaflet and sat down to have a closer watch, wow! amazing!. The tiny, fragile lining, or the veins in each were different. Not only, the symmetry of the leaf the inner portions also was different.

God, showed me a verse Ps 139:15, " My frame was not hidden  from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth." Here, 'King David' is praising God, for making him fearfully, and wonderfully. I too, thought about it, as to how in such, a splendid way did God, wove together all my inner parts. Every pair of 23 chromosomes with the genes, he selected and knit me into a complete structure, into my mother's womb. Marvelous!! are His works. He, has prepared you, and me for a task which He, has planned it long before that is why, he wove each strand carefully so as to fulfill, and accomplish His will.

 He, has given each one of you gifts, or talent so that your uniqueness may be seen, and all may glorify the creator. He, even knows your name, and calls us to finish His work. As in Exo " 35:30" he called Bezalel by name, a man of God filled with holy spirit, to do certain task. He, gave him the ability to perform the specific task in addition, he gave him the ability to teach other men. You, can see in the scriptures that God, has called many people to perform His work.

Think, for a few minutes to find out, your uniqueness, use it to glorify God. Tell your siblings, your children, your spouse, all your near and dear ones, that; you are 'unique' and 'special' in the eyes of God. Enjoy and rejoice in your uniqueness, treasure your uniqueness. Use your uniqueness to lift God. Don't try to be someone else. Be Unique.

Changes upon us.

God, has created day, night, times, seasons, plants, birds, animals and we humans. He, created this wonderful creation, all for a purpose. If, we look into some seasons they are good, some times are good then other, even some days are good then others. I, have heard many people saying yesterday was a good day. Every day, every moment and every second is good.  As, written by King Solomon, in the book of Eccles 3:1 he says, " There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." Every year God, replenishes the plants, trees, even some animals. Especially the trees changes, during autumn when the leaves, fall to the ground to decompose and nourish the forest floor.

Nature, has a vast number of plants, animals, birds, reptiles, fishes, which; change their colour, when other animals or human,  attack them for food. In, one of my blog 'watch out', I have mentioned about, 2 more insect which changes it's colour. Amazing! God has kept all these for us, to admire and see their beauty. Last week, a wonderful article came in the newspaper about Cane turtle, which is  rare in India. It, is a shy reptile and its wonderful feature which attracted me was it changes it's colour . The head of male turtle, blossoms with patches of bright red, yellow, pink and black, during breeding season . Sometimes these colorful pigments blend with flowers, fungi, and dry leaves in the ground. When they are frightened, they dive themselves underneath  the dry leaves.

Now, being a month of autumn, the sun rises late singing lullaby. It's a joy to sleep a bit late on our cozy beds. After my daily chores when I, looked out of my window, the courtyard was full of leaves, that too of varied colours. Wow ! Incredible! what a beauty.

 My, brother in law likes gardening, he carefully looks after the plants. Sometimes he does grafting and flowers grow wonderfully. Being, the season of fall he, first  removed all the dead leaves from the plants, pruned them,  grafted them, put fertilizer and watered them. I, watched the process as he, did his work gently and patiently. The same way, Our Heavenly father too cares for you and me. He knows, how you and me will be, in each season and in each stage of our life. He, can make even the worst season, and times of your life, and can change it into new season according to His plan for you.

It's, a season  when, there is a change in the surrounding, growing different plants, wearing different clothes, change in the climate etc. Similarly, there should be a change in everyone you and me, a change in us. Our behavior, our attitude, life style, habits. As Jesus says, in Matt 18:3 "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven". Change in us, to be like a child humble, and meek that is what God, expects from us. Let us shed some of our old habits, and behavior of boasting, and pride, and have a new spiritual life. A spiritual growth in you, a maturity in all aspects.

Autumn, season has arrived with coolness and relief from heat, brilliant changes in the colour of leaves from green, yellow, brown, golden, and red. Let, your eyes take in the bursts of colour and bring a change upon us as God wants.

 Friends, God has set everything in order, and according to His plan. Some days, and times, may be hard but;  keep heart God will sustain you till the end. Do not panic. Sailing through the storms of life...

While, I was drawing this picture, a sure hope and God's promises in the scripture, encouraged me to complete the drawing by, His grace. Even though we battle among the storms, and tempest He, will always be there as a stronghold, the anchor of our hope to reach the eternity.

Last month, when there was a sudden change in weather due; to the low pressure in Arabian Sea, and Bay of Bengal, the fisherman were advised, not to venture inside the sea, and were refused to sail. Though, the forecast of true storm, was announced some of the fisherman, were already in the middle of the sea. That, is the time when one's trust, and hope is counted. Sometimes, these storms comes in the middle of the journey which, can create a havoc in the lives of fisherman if; you don't trust God, and are fearful then life's storm, can ruin our lives.

 We, can see in Scriptures, in Mark 4:35-38, when the ship in which Jesus, and his disciples were going in a boat, to the other side of the lake all of a sudden; a tempest broke over the boat, all his disciples got terrified, nervous, and panic struck, among-st all. Thinking, they will drown, although mostly were fisherman, who knew to control the sails, still everyone was afraid. As, they lost their focus that Jesus, is there in the boat, who will control every situation.

 You and me too sometimes, like the disciples, become fearful and overwhelmed with the turbulence in our life's boat. Keep in mind that, even though the storms of life, may keep our boat rocking, and we may be in the center of furious waves believe the one who called you.

I, remember an incident which happened in my life. As, I wrote in the previous blogs about, my  medical ailment, which was the thunderbolt from heaven, storms were risen in my life with all aches and pain in my body, sleepless night when I used to have a thousand questions with my saviour. All these were answered, by my Heavenly Father. I was given assurance by Him, from many promise verses. Sailing in the ship with God by my side, and everything was going smoothly for 6 years. All of a sudden a storm from nowhere, with hovering winds and thick black clouds encircled my ship and it began to sway to and fro, fear gripped  the atmosphere, and I received a phone call, that my father met with an accident, and is in ICU. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the sailing ship with fearful noises from all around, and I questioned myself as to why? why it's happening to me? One after another; sickness, financial hardship, accidents. Why, can't the life be smooth? He, again assured me that He hasn't forgotten me, and He is at work in me. After, a couple of weeks my dad was discharged from hospital. The promise of Jesus, in John 16:33," in the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world" takes away our trials and brings solace to our heart.  His, promises that He is bigger than any storm and His words in Ps 22:24 " For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; nor has He hidden His face from Him; but when he cried to Him, He heard.". He will strengthen us in every situation. Someone, has well said, "I am not afraid of storm for I am learning how to sail my ship."

Friends, If any one of you are facing, a difficult situation, when the storms keep rising, and dark clouds overshadowing our head, and no way out. Reach, out to God He will cause hope to rise above the pain and struggles we are facing. He will soothe our souls. He is the Lord of hope. His love and care is always there for you. Rule over it..

Isn't it, that there have been certain times, when you feel like quitting your job, because of too much pressure and overwork. There, are times when you were driving your car in a long traffic jam, and you are in a hurry, when you notice yourself behind a slow driver, and the horn in the traffic makes you mad. You feel like banging everyone's head.

Anger, is one of a natural emotion of the body. Truth is that, everyone becomes angry but; it is expressed in different ways and degrees. When, some incidence happens, in which the expected outcome is not met, their arises a feeling of dissatisfaction, leading to anger. It leads to various act of hatred, fight, and even murder. These all can lead to sin. Not only does an emotional change, occur but; also physically, disturbs our sleep, also many changes happens in our body due to anger, like increased heart rate, blood pressure, excessive sweating, headache, dizziness. and even heart attack. It is actually a silent killer.

Everyone likes to be a ruler. To have an authority; over your servant, your workers, your wife, your husband, your children etc..etc. In every country, there is a ruler; to govern, the nation, in peace, and prosperity. Same way, bible teaches us to 'rule over' one of the greatest emotion, that is 'ANGER'

This anger has been there, from the time of our Fore forefathers. The sons of Adam and Eve did the sin. We can see in Gen 4: 5 " but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry and his face was downcast." Later, on when God saw the anger of Cain, He warned him, written in the next verse, "But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it." Thus, we see God knows that emotion of anger can sprung up in Cain, to murder his brother; that is the reason God forewarned him.

 It, is very easy and quick to become angry but, if you are a matured person, you will know to remain calm in any annoying situation. An Imagination: A pot, made of mud was sitting on a corner of the room, when a steel glass jumped, from the shelf and came close to the pot and asked, "Why do you smile, and remain cool always"? The pot, answered, "I don't get angry because, the water inside me, will become hot, and no one will like to drink from me. If, I smile, and remain cool always, the water inside me, will  be sweet and cold and everyone will drink from me. What, is the point to get angry with others? One day I have to return to mud, from where I was taken, so why should I get angry?

I, have written a small article, which I suppose, might not be directly related to you. But, in any point of your life, if you become angry, just think of the pot in the imagination, I wrote. If any, situation tries to hang around, just ask God to help you, He, will strengthen you, and give you the grace to overcome it. Surrounded by a hedge

Who doesn't, make a hedge or a fence or a boundary wall for a beautiful and lovely house? It's not only for a house but; also if you grow a floral garden, or a vegetable garden, you will surely surround it or enclose it with a fence. A hedge, is a barrier, or a protection, from others. During, my childhood  I, remember playing (ghar- ghar) among two or three of us. It depends on the number of friends. One of them will play the role of mother, one will act to be father, and one acted as a child. A normal family set up. Sometimes we used, bed sheets or saris and cover our surrounding like a fence so, that no one may enter our privacy. Thus, a protection can be done by anything, if you can cover with shrubs or plants or with a strong wall or with sticks or wood depends for who and what you are protecting, whether the protection has to be strong or just, for name sake.

 I, remember one more incident some, 2-3 yr back while none of us was in our, house one side of our fence, collapsed due to heavy rain. After few months, when we arrived back, we were shocked to see the destruction done by animals, and rag pickers as they had destroyed, our trees and plants and wanted items; only because no hedge or fence or a boundary wall was there.

 Reading, from my daily portion, I landed in the book of Job, wondering about, the troubles he faced, caused; by Satan. When, the hedge or the defensive wall, was removed from God, then only  Satan had a way to attack Job. Satan couldn't attack Job as, God's, protection was there in his life. I, think Satan might have wandered everywhere, circulated around the whole hedge, to find if a loophole, a crack or a split even a small fissure is there to harm this righteous man; but he didn't find any, and so he asked God, "Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side?"  Job 1:10

People at times, get disturbed, troubled and annoyed, when they see fence or a hedge around them. They, want to live a free life but, God loves you and me, and he has promised us to protect us from all evil and harm, so he builds a hedge. Thus we can easily see the necessity of a wall or fence or a hedge to our belongings. Same is the case of a spiritual hedge or a barrier around us. It is difficult for us to see with our naked  eyes, the spiritual hedge which God, builds for  us. If we are close to God, he will provide a greater hedge of protection. Satan cannot touch us, unless he asks the permission from Lord. He hates wall, as he knows it will block his way. We can see even the entrance to the garden of Eden is guarded by cherubim and flaming sword for the 'tree of life'. Hedges in life, shows that God is surrounding us with protection.

There is a beautiful story, Once, there was a rich man who owned large vine estates. He had, a young careless son, who never helped him. The man tried his best, to make him work but alas! he won't. One day, the man died and all his possessions, and large vine estate also came to his foolish son. The boy, had never been to the estate so, didn't know how to take care of it. One day, while he was walking in the vineyards, he saw hedges surrounding the vineyards. he looked at them and said to himself, "These hedges are a waste. They, do not grow any grapes. Let me clear them off." The boy asked, his servants to clear the hedges. After clearing the hedges. Next morning, the boy was shocked to see his ruined vineyards. Some grapes were stolen by men, and some were eaten by wild animals, and beasts. The inexperienced boy, did not know the importance of hedges, as they were used to protect the vineyards, from other men and beasts. God, provides His blessings, and gifts to each of us. You, should be certain from your point to build, a strong relationship with Him.

Gift of Forgiveness.

 Forgiveness is a gift to give and give Forgive. It is one of the main aspect for spiritual development. Forgiveness is not an instinct. It is not something which most people can do automatically. Forget is different from forgive. To forget is to remove it from our memory for a certain period. Forgiveness is not same as forgetting or excusing but it is an action or decision made by grace of God. If people will not forgive the world would be a very different place than it is now. Forgiveness helps us let go of the past and to see life in a new way.

Long back, a beautiful story came in magazine, Author is unknown. It's about two friends, who were walking through a desert. During the journey they had an argument, one friend slapped the other on the face. The one who got the slap wrote in the sand: TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME ON THE FACE. They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from drowning, he wrote on a stone: TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE. The friend who slapped and saved his best friend asked him " After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?"The other friend replied "When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does good for us, we must engrave it in stone where wind can never erase".

God, has given us a gift. He, forgave our sins when, he was nailed on the cross. As, Jesus prayed to God the Father when he was crucified," Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." Jesus showed us the example of forgiveness. Thus in our lives we should  Ask God to give us the grace of forgiveness. As it says in Eph 4: 32 " And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you". God, wants us to forgive everyone. In bible Jesus, has mentioned in Matt 6 : 14 "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also five you: " If you need pardon or forgiveness from God you should forgive those who have done wrong to you. There are times when you might have had painful events caused by others or instances when someone had done wrong to you, do not take revenge, instead forgive and once you forgive you are free in your mind and heart.

Forgiveness is a balm. It, is also related to the well being of mind, body, and soul. Studies, have shown that forgiveness has a major impact, on your health. If, you forgive your; cardiac system will function good, your nervous system will work excellent, your immunology functions will be improved, the hormonal functions will be balanced, moreover the mental state will be active, and more productive. You, will have an inner peace. Pray that Heavenly Father may renew your heart, with love and compassion, may He bring more spiritual insight and understanding to your brain. If you have the set up to forgive others you can have victory over anger, jealousy, malice, hatred, bitterness and all other evil conscience. Forgiveness will involve us to carry fruits of spirit: love, joy, peace, gentleness, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, patience, self control.
