The Unfading Beauty in God's eyes...

When, you love someone you will go to any extreme to make him or her happy.

While, being preoccupied with our pursuit of God, isn't bad but, a glorious reality, facing the weakness of our pursuit. This; can be a source for discouragement if, we lose sight of the other side of the coin that He, is also in pursuit of us. He loves us, and He choose us, before the creation of this world. He, has taken the first step so now, You and me need to take one step for Him. Eph 2:4 " But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy"

Everyone; may not have the beauty, of Miss universe, nor can be genius or no much strength ...Still it is His grace that He loved you and me and counted worthy because of this extreme love we ought to love Him in return. In John 15:12" My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you." He loved me and He chose me John 15:16 " You did not choose me, but I chose you." When he loves me, I should go to any extreme in loving him.

A story, where there was a man who married a beautiful girl. He, loved her very much. The, girl after few days started with a skin disease. After, showing to many hospital her skin, remained the same and slowly all her, beauty began to fade.

The man, went for a tour one day. On, returning he met with an accident, and he lost his sight. The, wife took care of her husband in everything. This, went on for some more time and both, continued to love each other.

One fine day, the wife died. He, was in great sorrow. After, the last rites of his wife, he decided to leave that town. One, day while he was walking down the road, a man called for him from behind. He said, you might be missing your wife badly as, till now she used to everything. It might be very difficult for you now, to walk all alone. He replied, " I am not blind. I was acting till now. Because if she knew, I could see her skin condition due to a disease, she would be broken. I loved her caring, and loving nature, more than her beauty. So, I pretended to be blind to keep her happy.

This, teaches us that you can do all possible things to love someone. To make the person happy in life. Beauty will go away, as you advance your days. God, desires this beauty from us which will not fade. The beauty of your heart, and soul. Though; you become old, with wrinkles, loose skin, and no charm, still God's love will continue as, he sees your inner beauty. 1 Pet2:4" Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.".

If, we reject Him He will still pursue us until, we return. Our relationship with God, should be our top priority. God, loved us and He gave His, own Son. He, demonstrated His love by, paying a penalty for our sins. He loved us, and chose us. Same, like this story I believe; the love of God, is so strong for me, it teaches me to make my God happy. Beauty, of my heart and my soul be used for His purpose.

Friends, God loves each one of us. His love is totally, about who He is, and not about who we are. He sees the inner beauty of our heart and soul. Hope, this blog will enlighten your thoughts, regarding the 'Unfading Beauty in God's eyes'.. Please share comment and like. God bless you.

Let's be busy like B's...( Bee's and Butterflies)

Like, the drawing let's be busy bodies collecting pollens from the flower. Be a beautiful butterfly in your life, not a sloth.

Every day in the channel, newspaper, social media and casual talks, main topic is Covid-19. Now, almost 8-9 month if, you count from Dec 2019, first case in China. A controversy of this virus whether, manmade or natural is going around. Whatever; a man thinks, one thing is sure that the problems going around is well known to God. Life on earth is uncertain, end is a reality. These days are worthy for us. Utilize and be productive to God and others around you.

All, are afraid of the disease so much that; they are slowly losing their smiles. There is no point to be fearful, follow the instruction of cleanliness, wearing mask, and have a positive mindset. Including, the main important Divine shelter in your life. Seek, the grace of God, these days and overcome the situations you, are facing.

I remember, an incident of a man because, of the partial lockdown this; man became careless, spent most of the time sleeping, his wife used to cook, clean, and do all the household work. When, the partial lockdown was also opened this, man became a couch potato.

He would only eat, drink, and sleep. Sometimes, he would spend time with his friends. After, many days of lying down with no work, this man became so; obese that, he developed diabetes, hypertension, and heart problem. Such, a state; of slothfulness happened in him. This incident, reminded me of a story in Pr 24:30-34In which, the author of Proverbs in Bible, visits a vineyard of a man, here the ground is covered with weeds, and thorns which grows in it, the stone wall or the fence is also broken. This, man instead of; clearing the thorns, weeds, and mending the wall, he hides his hands, in the bosom and sleeps. The animals enters his vineyard, and destroys the crops. As, written in Pr 24: 33,34, "A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest- and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man."

The sloth are so lazy that they do not feed on nutritious diet and eat full stomach and sleep they poop once a week. Sometimes they starve to death even when the stomach is full. They even die in the hanging position in one of the branch. A stitch in time saves nine. It, can also be applied to a person who is sluggard. The, stitching of a small hole on your dress, can become big, if; neglected. The, person if diligent, and works on his assigned task will make him like an ant.

A man is not born lazy, we can see the first man Adam he worked hard and tilled his ground and grew crops. Some, circumstances, or situations cause laziness which, should be avoided.

The slug, is somewhat similar to such person, who moves with no progress. Unconcerned, or not motivated. Without any goal in life. Pr 13:4 "The sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied".

Friends, You and me should be busy for Christ, doing his work and preparing to reap the harvest. God, wants us to give your lives in His hands don't waste your time but, be useful. Hope this blog will enlighten your thoughts regarding your life. Please share comment and be encouraged. God bless you.

Thanks

Balancing

" He who controls others may be powerful, but he who has mastered himself is mightier still."- Lao Tzu

Another attribute, to be possessed in each one's life. Last but, not the least..I'm talking of the last fruit of Holy Spirit, which; is a balancing fruit, out of the regular 8 fruits which, we have been tasting till now. The fruit of self control which, is very hard to attain in life. The ability to control or  balance oneself, by behaviour, habits, expressions, impulses, in difficult circumstances.

Nowadays, the society is so self centered, that; every time they say of me, my, and mine like, a 2-3yr child who is attention seeking thereby; throws temper tantrums, screams, shouts, and yells, demands whatever thing they see in the shop, for all these, parents give behavioral teaching or scolding. God, desires you, and me to be mature with godly characters.

Try, to train yourself, do self mastery to your mind, emotion, behavior, habits, speech. We should deny ungodliness, worldly lust and live a life with righteousness and sobriety. As, it says in Titus 2:12, " It teaches us to say ''no'' to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,

In self control, not only; the desires of food, luxuries of life, fame, and sex are controlled. In fact; it includes emotions, behavior, expressions, impulses. In short, our physical, and material comforts, are controlled.

Most people, are controlled by their flesh. So, they eat what they like. do what feels good to them etc. The bible, shows us examples from the life of Jacob, and Esau, how; Esau, lost his control over the red stew prepared by Jacob and, sold his birth right. This, is losing self control for food. Sometimes some food we like it too much, we think of eating it day, noon and night. As, written in Prov 25:27, It is not good to eat too much honey, nor is too honorable to seek one's own honor.

If, you are controlled by the spirit, you will not have vague desires, and emotions. You, will have a disciplined and controlled life which, is under the control of Holy spirit. Set, a guard over your mouth. Think, before you speak.

Another, example can be seen in the life, of Cain and Abel. Cain, lost his control of temper. Bad temper, and anger made him attack his, brother and, kill him. Losing self control of emotion, and behaviour which, was not at all pleasing in God's eyes. These examples, teach us to identify the weakness in our life, and improve. Shun away the evil, from your surroundings. Holy Spirit, will lead you to have a controlled life.

Jesus, is our role model. He, is full with the fruit of self control. You can see, when He carried the cross. He was; humiliated, beaten, nailed, abused, whipped etc etc. He suffered, quietly and did not open His mouth. As a silent lamb He suffered, for you and me.

God, desires the character of self control, in you and me. We, should do the things which God, has told but, to avoid those things which are forbidden. Keep, practicing spiritual activities like; meditation, praying, worshipping, praising, testifying, spreading the word of God, and other good fruits to be imparted to others, from your life.

I’m just writing a blog post, for your encouragement so as, to have self control in you. If, you know this article would help someone or encourage them, please do share with them. I’d also love to hear from you. Please do leave a comment.

Thanks

Ann

Fragile...

"Gentleness, self-sacrifice, and generosity are the exclusive possession of no one race or religion."-Mahatma Gandhi

As, we walk in our daily life; we meet many person around us, and the moment we talk, or do something, a ripple action is delivered to them. This action, which we deliver out shows our character, which should be gentle and kind to others. Fruit of Gentleness, which is the eighth fruit of Holy Spirit, let us ponder on it.

People, in society gets so much consumed with work, that they start competing, and in this they forget the people around them, behaving in a harsh way. Many, relations break easily because of attitude. If, you care for your friends, family, and others; the gentle character will be displayed. Proverb 15:1 "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but harsh word stirs up anger". If, you are harsh in your answer, that it can break a heart. Don't, scream or shout, and argue for your point. Remain, silent, when the furnace is hot.

Handle with care, fragile this is a common tag; if you want something to be handled, with caution, these words are used but, people still neglect and are least bothered to handle it with care. As said in Phil 4:5 "Let your gentleness be evident to all, the Lord is near." In, the same way our attitude towards others should be, fragile and handled with care because God is omnipresent and sees, our conduct and attitude.

Have you noticed; some soap, are harsh used for washing, or cleaning clothes, utensils, floor etc. And, there are gentle, pure soap, or soft soap for bath, face wash, or baby soap which; are soft on skin. In this their is, tender touch. Gentleness, shows tender touch, loving touch, like that of mother to the newborn baby. Everyone, who touches a baby, have a tender touch. The same way; God the Father touches every one of us, because He loves us.  He is loving kind and tender hearted compassionate God.

You, can also see in animals, when they are tamed; the wild nature of a horse, elephant, dog, monkey can all be subdued, domesticated by, taming them gently, not by forcing or beating. Like, a child too should be taught gently, it will obey you once he trust and loves you. No, one likes a harsh or rough or treatment.

Have, you ever seen a King: riding a donkey, but we can see in Matt 21:4, "Say to the Daughter of Zion, 'See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey'." You, should follow the footsteps of 'Jesus', in His lifetime, on earth, He was meek, and gentle in His dealings.  He, was  humble that we can see in one of the scripture it's written in Col 3:12 "Therefore, as God's chosen people , holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."  The, gentleness you possess should not, waver or moved during, extreme conditions. Even, while you are frustrated, sad or busy whatever; the circumstance be exhibit gentleness.  Holy Spirit wants you and me: to have such tenderness and gentleness in our life.

Friends, God wants us to be perfect, so grow in gentleness like His Son. Pursue and practice it. Hope this blog will enlighten your thoughts regarding your attitude and character in life. Please, share comment and like. God bless you.

Thanks

Fruit of Faithfulness....

Faithfulness, is an act of being loyal or being true to your word or promise. It is the 7th, fruit of Holy Spirit which, tells us to have dedication, or commitment towards the word of God. This, fruit reveals the character of a person. It, proves the measure of  love you have. Keeping up of our word, doing the work with responsibility is the faith which God expects from your and my life.

Nowadays, the faithfulness is decreasing in the society. Increase in divorces, corruption, cheating in children, employees, politics, everywhere. I, would say to have a look at dogs, who are so faithful to their master. Nature teaches us such, faithfulness. This is what God, expects from you and me.

Wherever we are placed; in a family, be faithful like Ruth. Among friends, be faithful like David and Jonathan. In money,or your resources be faithful like the servant in the parable of talents.

As, we see a parable of Talents in the Bible. A man, before going to a journey called his servants, and entrusted his property to them. To one, he gave 5talents of money, to one he gave 2talents, to another he gave 1talent, each according; to his ability. The man who got 5, earned 5 more, to the one who got 2 produced 2more and the one who got 1 dug a hole and kept it hidden.

After a long time, when the master came he called the servants and settled account with them. The servant who was entrusted 5, gave 5 more to the master. Matt 25:21 "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things, Come and share your master's happiness!" This, shows our faithfulness to the work assigned, whatever; resources,  talents, or abilities you have received from the master of the universe, it is your duty to be loyal in that. Do, not be lazy to hold it back, or hide it. Whatever, you do in your life, do it faithfully. As if for the glory of God.

In this fruit, we have to be like 'Jesus' who lived, a life with commitment, and faithfulness. He, is faithful and true, and shows us to adhere to the commitment, we make as He, died for you and me and rose  up on the third day. Commitment between God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. As said in 2 Tim 2:13 "If we  are faithless, he will remain faithful, for He cannot disown himself".

God's, faithfulness is such as, it cannot be compared. He, knows what is best in our lives, and he is faithful enough to give it to us. Faithfulness, is the fruit which God, produces in our lives, only thing is you have to be committed, loyal, and truthful when you have submitted your life, to 'Jesus'. Stick on to your word though; troubles, and problems come and then  see the grace of God, in your life.

Friends, God wants us to be perfect, and grow in faithfulness like His Son. Hope this blog will enlighten your thoughts regarding your attitude and character in life. Please, share comment and like. God bless you.

Thanks

Ann
