One morning I got up from the bed, trying to find out my purpose as to why did I come to  this earth? Feeling useless, tired, no enthusiasm, and no future plans , I stumbled on the mat, to freshen up. The question still ringing in my thoughts...that moment my eyes, fell on my hands. I smiled in the mirror and came out. 

God has made everyone in his own image. We are not ordinary, but unique having differences in them. That is the time when God enlightened me, with the beautiful example of our fingers, each different in length, and structure, having its own importance in unique way, so never underestimate your capabilities. Each one is important to God as we all have unique, and important roles in life. No one is small, no one is great, all are equal in the sight of God. . God knows to deal with each individual. God made some weak and some strong.  We should abide in him and glorify God with the potential stored in us. ..For the ways of Lord are manifold which this human mind cannot think.

God’s eternal purpose is closely related to God’s will. It is what God wants, or desires from our lives. This plan of God that is according to the will of God is the purpose, what He wants in our lives. God has a specific purpose for each of us. Until we know the purpose for our lives, we will never get the best use out of them. Sit in His presence, pray and meditate to know His will in our lives

Is this glass half empty or half filled ??

You can see it as half empty or half filled it is the outlook to which you see your life.

You may try to fill the emptiness, through new clothes ,new car, new house all the luxuries and glitters but all this, once it finishes you will again feel the emptiness in your life. You have the power to make it full and useful or keep it empty.

When we give our problems to God and put  your trust in Him to hear, and know his will. He will help us, and guide us, that is when we will have relief from all our problems. His love and affection is the only thing that will ever truly fill us up. He wouldn’t empty you if he didn’t care about the outcome of your life. Be willing to let go of, those things that may be holding you back from his best and get ready to be filled up in His mercy, grace and love.

 We have to empty ourselves first so that we will be filled and used by God.  For example a vessel needs to be emptied so that it can be used to store some fluid or solid or any other thing. As we are God's vessel on this earth to shine for Him, for that we need to empty ourselves in the form of surrendering to Him. So that His will be done in our lives.

We all may feel empty in some or the other way. It's not easy to have a life with fullness. But you can for sure fill your emptiness here....in His presence, close to God. In meditation In prayer and talking to Him.

When God Seems At A Distance.....

When God seems at a distance....

Is God hiding? Is God  very far ?Is God neglecting me ?Has He abandoned me?

These might be some questions to which some of us asks, at the time when they have no joy, when they are down cast, when they feel discouraged, and helpless, when they don't get an answer to the prayers.

That is the time when one feels that God is far. Yes, I don't know how many of you all might have felt?, but I had this experience, sometime back in my life. There were times when I felt, I am in a dark and deep valley alone. Those moments I used to feel spiritually empty, dry, desperate and felt as  if He is hiding and withholding His presence.
 

 It's time to understand the truth that ?He is near you, don't rely on your feelings. We can pour out our complains to Him.
If you too find yourself in this situation, be comforted nothing is abnormal nothing new. You are sailing in the same boat of your brothers and sisters.
I remember my past how He had been faithful to me, took care of me, helped me in  the past. Then slowly God revealed his secret to me that He is not far but near to me, very very near. 

Immediately a story I read long ago flashed on my mind." One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with God. Suddenly he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to God and the other to him. He was happy that God is with him. Later , he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at, the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him, and he questioned about it."God", you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you left me alone."

God replied, "My precious, child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

Today, are you walking in peace or calmness? Or are you tensed, worried, and anxious?

 Fear or worry is a natural human emotion, but to be anxious and overanxious, in everything is rather a sort of bondage, which can overrule us. At times we worry about unwanted things. We worry about our job, about home, about car, about our children, their school, there education, about climate, about politics, and so on....the list will not have an end but go on, and on in making a nest of problems in our head.

But, there is hope and freedom for anyone caught in this snare. The moment we deepen our relation with God we are free from the strongholds of bondage which was once for us. 

 See an example, of a bird sitting on top of the mountain ,it is not worried though strong winds blowing, and waves in the sea  becoming tumultuous, and ship being tossed to and fro; Yet the bird will not worry, and be anxious as the bird trusts, in her two tiny wings, by which she will fly away to much higher altitude and be at rest..That's how we have to have trust in God.

We may, think we are sinking with our problems but, He will ultimately lead us ashore. Trust him for it to happen. ..Look at the grass in the fields. They neither toil nor spin still the Almighty clothes each one of them. Worrying will only make us useless and tired. God keeps us going when the road seems tough when there is valley dark and deep. When things are confusing he cares. When we think of quitting, he will encourage us and make us walk holding our hands to the way of success. ...

Spend time with God in prayer asking Him to display His glory through you as you learn to overcome anxiety and pursue peace within through His help.

Taming the Tongue

Man has been able to tame reptiles, animals, birds and many sea creatures; but no one till now, has been able to tame a tongue. It is a small powerful, muscular organ with rich supply of blood vessels. 

When we put a bridle, and some pieces of food, in the mouth of a horse, they obey us. We can also take the example of ship, even though large ships might be there, and the waves and fierce storms, can toss the ship, but a small rudder in the pilots hand, can control the ship.
 Likewise the tongue also makes great boast. Tongue is a fire, it can get a great forest, set on fire by a small spark. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one's life on fire.

With tongue you can taste good and bad food. Our tongue has an incredible power.The saying" sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me is simply not true." Our tongues can be the most difficult thing to control and leave us with great regret if we use our words to hurt others. So it is good to tame it. So try to say positive things always.

God sees our behavior attitude and the way we deal with people. Try not to harbor bitter, envy and selfish ambitions that may lead to evil practice. Our mouth should be filled with grace when we speak. God wants it to be used to bless rather than curse. Be a blessing to everyone.

A stream cannot  have both fresh water and salty water so is the tongue. Try to tame your own tongue and see the beautiful result, God is going to give.
